Enhanced Inuktitut Inflight Safety Announcements

Canada – Rankin Inlet, Nunavut.
First Air and Sakku First Aviation are proud to announce that their entire fleet of aircraft have been equipped with inflight safety messages in Inuktitut Kivalliq dialect. Now, when traveling to or within the Kivalliq region on First Air or Sakku First Aviation, English, French and the local Inuktitut dialect will be heard on all aircraft.

Sakku First Aviation Ltd. (SFAL) has been operating as a joint venture airline between Sakku Investments Corporation and First Air since November 2010.
SFAL provides benefits to the Inuit of the Kivalliq region through employment, training, and service enhancements. Kivalliq beneficiaries also enjoy significant discounts on passenger fares and cargo rates.
